Reaching out
strong hands
supple wrists

to eat when you’re hungry
to drink when you’re thirsty20130820-150854.jpg

apply balm to your soul
and hold you
against her shoulder
when you need to cry.

Medicine Woman
Earth healer
she’s ready to embrace you.
