What’s your writing background? When did you begin writing and what inspired you?
My obsession with books started at about five years old, when my mum read me ‘The Little Match Girl’ by Hans Christian Anderson. After that I was hooked, a total bookworm. If I wasn’t reading, I was writing. My inspiration to write my first novel actually came from my granddad. My granddad was just turning ninety when he bought himself his first laptop with the purpose of writing his life story. Sadly, he never got to finish his story and after his passing I decided that instead of just secretly wondering if it was possible for me to write a novel, I was just going to go for it. It was now or never. A year later, in 2011 I had completed my first novel ‘Rotten to the Core’.
